Description

Our client in the Retail, Wholesale and direct Imports and Distribution across Southern Africa is urgently looking to employ an Operations Finance Manager.

Minimum qualification and experience:

Grade 12
Degree
CIMA, CA or equivalent qualification advantageous
Soft Skills:

Individual needs to have strong communication skills, a no-nonsense business approach, be resilient, be assertive and be willing to handle conflict situations.
Responsible for the dividend policy and assessments for the full group.
Must be able to handle pressure and have exemplary time management skills.
Must be able to work independently with high level input from senior management.
Needs to run with projects and implement decisions.
Strong business acumen.
Must have a proven track record in problem solving.
Main Duties/Key Results Areas:

Design, implement and monitor processes to manage and report on profitability in conjunction with the management team of the departments
Be responsible for the timeous commission calculation and pay-outs together with Human Resources (where applicable)
Implement processes to identify main cost drivers and work with the management team to reduce costs and increase efficiencies
Design and monitor benchmarks for the various categories
Address any issues that are not being attended to with the management of the categories
Escalate non-compliance to the Board
Assist with the development strategy for automation and efficiencies that meets the categories needs
Assist with solution orientated suggestions for interdepartmental challenges
Responsible for the Reporting, Oversight, and Improvement on the Various Entities within the Group
(Local and Offshore)
Design, implement and monitor processes to manage and report on profitability in conjunction with the management team and various stakeholders of the entities.
Be responsible for the timeous incentive calculation and pay-outs together with Human Resources (where applicable).
Implement processes to identify main costs drivers and work with the management team to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.
Be responsible for the financial management and team management of the below for the various customers serviced by the company:

Accounts payable
Inventory
Invoicing
Syspro & Pastel admin
Recruitment
Reporting
